SOBOLEVA, Valentina was born in 1903.
1921-1924 studied at Leningrad Institute of Stagecraft.
1925-1928 at Leningrad 1st Arts Studio. 1929-1934 at Gorky Bolshoy Drama Theater, Leningrad. 1935-1937 at Central Theater of the Red Army, Moscow.
1937-1951 at Saratov Drama Theater. 1951-1956 at Gorky Bolshoy Drama Theater, Leningrad. Roles: Elisabeta in Schiller’s “Don Carlos”.
Lady Anne in Shakespeare's “Richard Ш”. Anna in the stage version of Tolstoy's “Anna Karenina”. Nadezhda Monakhova in Gorky's “Varvary” (The Barbarians).
