STASHKEVICH, Vladimir was born in 1930.
Member, “Dinamo” Sports Society, Rostov-on-Don. 1949 placed 1st in All-Union junior competitions. 1950 placed 6th, 1951 and 1952 3rd in bantamweight class at USSR Championship Competitions.
1953 became USSR Champion but in 1954 lost his title, taking only 2nd place. At 1955 World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Karlsruhe became World Bantamweight Champion. 1956 placed 1st in team competitions in Istanbul, but defeated in Moscow Spartakiada.
1958 placed 3rd in bantamweight class at World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Budapest. 1959 placed 1st in featherweight class at USSR Spartakiada. 1960 placed 3rd in featherweight class at Tbilisi Spartakiada.
