Nikolay TOMSKY, Russ, sculptor. Popular Artist of USSR since 1960; full member and Presidium member, USSR Academy, of Arts, since 1958. Order of Red Banner of Labor, 1960; Stalin Prizes, 1941, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1952; Gold Medal, 1958; USSR Supreme Soviet Presidium's Scroll of Honor, 1960; Gold Medal and Diploma, Class I, 1960. Member, Communist Party, since 1950.

    • Popular Artist Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Director, Studio of Sculpture, Serov Art Institute, Moscow. 1956 visited Italy with group of Soviet Artists.

      1957 Chairman, Sculpture Section, Exhibition Committee, All-Union Artists’ Exhibition. Deputy Chairman, Soviet-Polish Friendship Society. Attended Venice Exhibition and Belarusian Congress of Artists.

      1959 participated in “Our Contemporary” Exhibition, Moscow.
