TOPORKOV, Vasiliy was born in 1889.
Graduated St. Petersburg Theatrical School.
1909 made debut at St. Petersburg People’s House Theater. 1909-1914 at theater of St. Petersburg Literature and Arts Society. 1919-1927 at F. A. Korsch’s Theater, Moscow.
Since 1927 at Moscow Gorky Arts Theater. Roles: Vanechka, in V. Kataev’s “Rastratchiki” (The Embezzlers). Myshlaevsky, in M. Bulgakov’s “Dni Turbinykh” (The Days of the Turbins).
Chichikov, in Gogol's “Mertvye dushi” (Dead Souls). Orgon in Moltere’s “Tartuffe”. Beresta, in Korneychuk’s “Platon Krechet’’.
Maurice, in A. Kron’s “Glubokaya razvedka” (Strategic Reconnaissance). Kruglosvetov, in L. Tolstoy's “Plody prosveshcheniya” (The Fruits of Enlightenment). Aesop, in G. Figeuredo’s “Lisa i vinograd” (The Fox and the Grapes), etc.
