      Since 1958 member, Budget Commission, Soviet of the Union, USSR Supreme Soviet. Deputy and Presidium member, Armenian Supreme Soviet of 1947, 1951, 1955 and 1959 convocation. Since 1958 Chairman, Armenian Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Countries of the Arab East.
