Natalya UZHVIY, Ukrainia actress. Popular Artist of USSR since 1944; actress, Franko Academy Drama Theater, Kiev, since 1936; Chairman, Ukrainia Theatrical Society. Order of Lenin, 1960; three Order of Red Banner of Labor; Badge of Honor; three Stalin Prizes, 1946, 1949, 1951. Member, Communist Party, since 1945.

      Played roles of: Ang61ique in Moltere’s “Le Malade Imaginaire”. The Countess and Susanna in Beaumarchais’ “The Marriage of Figaro”. Oksana and Lida in Korneychuk’s “Gibe) eskadry” (The Death of a Squadron) and “Platon Krechet”.

      Sofya in Gorky's “Poslednie” (The Last Ones). Varka in I. K. Karpenko-Kary’s “Bestalanna” (Ill-Starred). Muraveva in B. F. Chirksov’s “Pobediteli" (The Conquerors).

      Marusya in M. P. Stariteky’s “Oy ne khody Gritsyu, tay na vechernytsyu” (Stay Away from Parties, Gritsya). Kruchinina in Ostrovsky’s “Bez viny vinovatye” (Guilty Without Guilt). Beatrice in Shakespeare's “Much Ado About Nothing”.
