  • VARDANYAN, Ruzana was born in 1896.

  • Career

    • Until 1927 secondary school teacher. Performed in Russ, and Armenian amateur shows in Northern Caucasus. 1927 made her ddbut at Yerevan Sundukyan Theater and soon became a leading actress on Armenian drama stage.

      Roles: Polina in Ostrovsky’s “Dokhodnoe mesto” (A Lucrative Job). Shura in Gorky's “Yegor Bulychev i drugie” (Yegor Bulychev and the Others). Kekel in Sundukyan’s “Pepo”.

      Margarit in Sbirvanzade’s “For Honor’s Sake”, etc. Delegation at 2nd All-Union Conference of Peace Partisans.
