Akaky VASADZE, Actor and Chief Producer, Rustaveli Georgia State Theater, Tbilisi, since 1920. Popular Artist of USSR; Professor, Georgia State Drama Institute. Stalin Prizes, 1941, 1945, 1950; two Order of Lenin; two Order of Red Banner of Labor; medals. Member, Communist Party, since 1939.

      Othello and Iago in Shakespeare's “Othello”. Prokhor Khrapov in Gorky's “Vassa Zheleznova”. Berest in A. Korneychuk’s “Platon Krechet”.

      Franz Moor in Schiller’s “Die Rauber”. Vasiliy Shuysky in V. Solovev’s “Veliky gosudar” (The Grand Sovereign). Shvach in B. Lavrenev’s “Razlom” (The Defeat).

      King Oedipus in Sophocles’ “Oedipus Rex”. Leading role in V. Daraseli’s “Kikvidze”. Roles in modem and classical Georgia comedies and in plays by Ostrovsky.
