    • Developed special automatic apparatus for studying nature and properties of cosmic rays in upper layers of atmosphere. Designed automatic apparatus for rockets and artificial earth satellites. Studied transitional effects in stratosphere and ascertained origin of “soft” component in radiation.

      1931-1935 Radium Institute, USSR Academy of Science. Since 1936, Physics Institute, USSR Academy of Science.

    Since religion offers a complete set of answers to the problems of purpose, morality, origins, or science, it discourages exploration of those areas by suppressing curiosity, denies its followers a broader perspective, and prevents social, moral and scientific progress.
