Microbiologist; Professor 1951; full member and Academy Secretary,Department of Biological Science, Kirghizia Academy of Sciences, since 1954; Hon Science Worker of Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic since 1947. Stalin Prize, 1947. Member, Communist Party, since 1943.

    • 1924 graduated Saratov Veterinary Institute.

    Career

    • Expert in infectious diseases of sheep. In collaboration with S. Ilinov developed a method of bacteriological diagnosis of brucellosis by lacteal gland puncture and established presence of anaerobic dysentery of lambs in Kirghizia. Also developed a method of biological differential diagnosis of causative agent of this disease and suggested an active serum against the infection.

      1933-1938 associate, Uzbek Veterinary Research Institute. 1938-1942 associate, 1942-1944 Director, Kirghizia Experimental Veterinary Research Station. 1947-1955 Head, Chair of Special Pathology and Therapy, Kirghizia Agriculture Institute.

      1957-1960 V.-President, Kirghizia Academy of Sciences.
