Redefining and broadening the concept of the production function and incorporating the behavioural effects of property relations into standard microeconomic theory. By applying ‘property-rights’ or ‘entitlements’ approach to problems in the area of comparative systems, it is possible to achieve improved understanding of the behaviour of diverse types of business organisations, including the socialist labour-managed firm, the Soviet firm, the codeterminationist firm, etc.
