David Rockefeller and Igor Stravinskii. Kennedy, The Soviet government suddenly realised the collection’s value and started to pay great attention. Backed by powerful members of the Politburo such as Ekaterina Furtseva, the then Minister of Culture. With Khrushchev’s fall, things changed at once. Constant conflict with the authorities arose. Watched by the Committee for State Security as a speculator who buys and sells (an activity banned by law in the Soviet Union). Forced to leave the Soviet Union in 1978. Left a considerable part of his collection in Moscow (the price of his exit visa). Now lives in a suburb of Athens. His famous and unique collection was displayed in America, Britain and all over Europe.
