Worked
at the Physico-Technical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences, 1938-1944. Worked in various scientific institutes of the Academy of Sciences until 1960. Director of the Laboratory of the United Institute of Nuclear Research from 1960.
Head of the Institute of Nuclear Research in Dubna and the Institute of Crystallography which, together with the Virology Institute, is involved in research to improve a method of trapping and diagnosing the Aids virus, based on a plastic nuclear filter developed by Soviet researchers.
Since religion offers a complete set of answers to the problems of purpose, morality, origins, or science, it discourages exploration of those areas by suppressing curiosity, denies its followers a broader perspective, and prevents social, moral and scientific progress.
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
