Worked as a stewardess with Aeroflot. Later an English language school teacher. Married an American citizen, 1958.
One of the first Soviet women who, after Stalin’s death, received permission to join her husband in the USA. Began writing in America under the pen name of Alla Ktorova. Her most famous novel is Litso Zhar-Ptitsy. Obryvki neokonchennogo aniiromana, USA, 1969.
Other books include Eksponai molchashchii, Germany, 1964. Writes mainly short stories using subculture slang. Lives in the USA.
