Pervushin, Nikolai was born in 1899 in Kazan’.
Graduated from Kazan’ University, 1923.
Lecturer there. In 1923, sent as a researcher to Germany to learn about German industries. He published his work in 1927 in Moscow’s Promizdal. Worked as an economic consultant in Europe for Soviet organizations.
Broke with the USSR, 1930. Lived in Paris as a political emigre. Lecturer on Russian history, language and economics.
Moved to the USA, 1946. For the next 16 years, worked at the United Nations. Taught Russian to American diplomats.
