Chief administrator of the Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Kazakh SSR, 1961-1965.
Director of the Kazakh Opera and Ballet, 1966, of the Folklore Office from 1958, and of the Alma-Ata Conservatory, 1967-1975. Lecturer from 1968, and professor from 1979. Composed mainly operas.
