Worker in Petersburg from 1861. In 1873, joined the narodniki. In 1874, arrested and tried in the famous ‘Trial of the 193’.
Acquitted but remained on the police blacklist. From 1876, member of illegal workers’ cells, later member of the Northern Union of Russian Workers. Arrested at the end of 1876, and exiled.
Emigrated to Bulgaria, 1885. Returned to Russia, 1890. Worker in Tula. Gave up revolutionary activity.
