Graduated from the high school, Quebec. Graduate Montreal Veterinary College, 1882.
Came to the United States in 1882, and settled in Arizona, 1887. Acquired by location and purchase nearly 20,000 acres of land which he cleared, provided with water for irrigation and sold in part to settlers. Financed and built Consolidated Canal, near Mesa, Arizona.
Founded and built town of Chandler, Maricopa Company, also built San Marcos resort hotel there.
Builder of power plants and organizer of banks. President Chandler Improvement Company, Consolidated Canal Company, Chandler Land & Security Company, Chandler Heights Citrus, Incorporated., et cetera
