Woman’s Club, Boston, a few weeks before Sorosis of New York was organized—so sometimes called “the mother of women's clubs.” Active in woman suffrage agitation in Cleveland and Boston, and lectured at various places. Prepared several memorials and appeals for suffrage, also papers before Women's Congress. Was on board of Hospital for Women and Children, Boston.
Has founded clubs in California at Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
And has been trustee of Unitarian Church and Public Library. Founder and president Los Angeles Free Kindergarten Association Pioneer suffragist.
