Had charge of dissolution proceedings against the Reading Company, Lehigh Valley Railroad Company, Ward Food Products Corporation, et cetera, under anti-trust laws.
Appointed by President Coolidge member of Federal Trade Commission, 1926, chairman, 1928-1929. Chairman of the Board and general counsel Allied States Association of Motion Picture Exhibitors from January 1929, also counsel for numerous trade associations.
Special assistant to attorney general North Dakota in litigation involving constitutionality of legislation regulating the operation of theatres, 1938-1939. General counsel National Lime Association and Metal Window Institute.
