In charge of bridges and buildings, New York City&Hassaram Rijhumal Railroad, 1901-1905.
Vice-president and chief engineer Butler Brothers-Hoff Company, general contractors, 1905-1908. Consulting engineer, New York, since 1908.
Member Arthur McMullen & Hoff Company Devised and executed method for tunneling Detroit River at Detroit, 1906-1909, also the subway tunnel under Harlem River at New York City, 1912-1915, by constructing the tunnels from the water’s surface. Chief consultant to Cunard Steamship Limited company, in connection with proposed steamship terminal in port of New York Home: Montclair, New Jersey.
