Superintendent construction and engineer for Furnaceville Iron Company in connection with improvement of state canals, Western division, 1897, and on completion of work, with Union Bridge Company at Athens, Pennsylvania, until 1899, when re-entered state engineer’s department, New York, as assistant engineer Eastern division.
Later promoted 1st assistant, then to resident engineer, and in 1901 to division engineer Eastern division. State engineer, New York, 1904-1907. V.-p. Acme Engineering & Contracting Company.
