Swamp Fox, by Marion Marsh Brown, is an excellent book. It is a well written story about Francis Marion and his ragtag men with barely any artillery, and how they managed to defeat the heavily equipped Brittish. The story has lots of interesting and factual information. It is written as though from one of his men.
