Initiator of Stakhanovitc movement for better use of locomotives. In 1935 the Stakhanovite movement developed and Krivonos was charged with the task of proving that more and better use could be made of locomotives. For this task, the USSR Popular Commissariat of Transport, under Kaganovich, set up especially favorable conditions and Krivonos obtained high locomotive utilization indices.
