1935 on instructions from, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), under artifically created favorable conditions Stakhanov cut 102 tons of coal in one shift, when the norm was 7 tons. This served as basis for “Stakhanovite Movement” which established new higher output norms. September 1935 established new record of 227 tons in one shift.
1935 1st All-Union Conference of Stakhanovites was held in the Kremlin. This made “Stakhanovite Movement” an official and obligatory form of working organization, which resulted in increased output norms in 1936, 1937 and 1939. During World War II and post-war period “Stakhanovite Movement” gradually lapsed.
