Research has been conducted in three main fields:
1. I first explored the consequences of new sets of axioms relative to the main economic regulations in our mixed economies. Instead of pure market economies regulated under the assumption of ‘complete competition’, I attempted to derive the main consequences of a full-employment economy on real growth and money supply determination by private demand (1964).
More recently (1982), a second set of axioms focusses on the competition between markets and organisations in resource allocation processes, its consequence on stagflation, investment decision and business strategies.
2. Next, I focussed on industrial economics, giving evidence of intersectoral transfers of productivity gains (1966, 1977), the growth of business firms (1971,1973), and the competitive
constraints facing middle-sized countries (1970, 1983).
3. A third field concerns enquiries and contributions in the international comparative analysis of education systems, using public policy analysis, organisational and economic theory (1976, 1983).
