Bonnie Allen Printz was born in 1946 in Luray, Virginia, United States.
Bonnie Printz earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, in 1968, and a Master of Arts from Hunter College, New York City, in 1970, both as a painting major.
Bonnie Printz got employment at the Museum of Modern Art from 1968 to 1970. In the 1980s she was employed at the Maryland Institute's College of Art in Baltimore, she has also taught at various times since 1971 at York College, York, Pennsylvania, and Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland.
Bonnie Printz works in Polaroid SX-70 and creates one-of-a-kind Polaroid images. Her subjects are autobiographical.
