Graduate Centre College (Danville, Kentucky), Bachelor of Arts, 1884 (A.M., 1888, Doctor of Divinity, 1900). Graduate Danville Theological Seminary, 1889.

Career

Appointed tutor in Hebrew, Danville Theological Seminary, 1887, professor O.T. exegesis, 1897. In 1901 Danville Theological Seminary (U. S.A.) and Louisville Theological Seminary (United States) were consolidated into present Presbyterian Theological Seminary of Kentucky, which is under joint control of the two Presbyterian chs. (North and South), in which holds chair of O.T. exegesis and hermeneutics.
