Ordained to the ministry of the Baptist Church, 1910. Pastor of Windsor Park Church, Chicago, 1910-1912, Wyoming Church, Cincinnati, 1912-1914, Temple Church, Minneapolis, 1914-1919, 1st Church, Lansing, Michigan, 1919-1922, Baptist Temple, Charleston, West Virginia, 1923-1934, First Church, Denver, 1934-1945, First Baptist Church, Boulder, Colorado, 1945-1950. Lecturer Berkeley Baptist Divinity School 1950.

Minister emeritus First Baptist Church, Denver, since 1945. Interim pastor several different chs., since 1950. Has been active in all phases of Baptist Church organization, serving as member or chairman numerous coms. and on board of managers various subsidiary orgns. and of convs.
