Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. The firm was founded in 1933 by Arthur C. Watson and Richard B. Williams, who in that same year, were graduated from The Tulane School of Law.
Mr. Watson maintained his practice until his demise in 1984, during which he became a member of the Louisiana State Legislature, Chairman of the State Central Democratic Committee and a Delegate to the National Convention.
Mr. Williams ultimately became a District Judge and subsequently served as Ad Hoc Judge to various District, Appellate Courts and the Supreme Court of Louisiana. The firm has a long history of providing instructional assistance to Northwestern State University and takes pride in having served as a training ground for the university and the local high schools for those interested in working in the legal community.
