Career

E. Knox, Frederica. Ordained Presbyterian ministry, 1886. Pastor Memorial Church, St. Augustine, Florida, 1886-1890. Studied in Berlin and traveled in Orient, 1890-1891.

Professor Græco-Roman and Eastern church history, Hartford Theological Seminary, 1892-1925, graduate professor, 1925-1928, professor emeritus, since 1928.
