Tudjman, Franjo was born on May 14, 1922 in Veliko Trgovisce. Son of Stjepan and Justina (Gmaz) Tudjman.

Director, Institute for the History of Labour Movement of Croatia, Zagreb, 1961-1967;associate professor, Facul. Political Science, 1963-1967;president, Republican of Croatia, since 1991. President communications of History, Microbiology and Botany, since 1970, RCro, since 1990.

Founder, president HDZ, 1989.
