Career

Ordained ministry Methodist Episcopal Church, 1903. Successively pastor Jackson, Alma, Niles, Manistee, Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, Reed City, Traverse City (all of Michigan). Superintendent Albion district, 1919-1925.

Endowment secretary Drew Theological Seminary, 1926-1928. President Gammon Theological Seminary, Atlanta, Georgia., 1928-1932. Made trip around world visiting missions, 1936.

Member of staff Board of Foreign Missions, Methodist Episcopal Church, lecturing widely in interest of world friendship since 1937. Professor psychology, Martin College, Pulaski, Tennessee, since 1942. Formerly secretary board of trustees Albion College.

Trustee Gammon Theological Seminary.
