Ordained African Methodist Episcopal Zion ministry. 1893; pastor in North Carolina at Cleveland, 1894, Zebu, 1895-1897, China Grove, 1897-1898, Charlotte, 1898-1899, Salisbury, 1899-1900, and Louisville, Kentucky, 1900-1904. Editor Star of Zion, 1904-1916.
