Student Massachusetts Institute Technology, 1889-1890, 1891-1893. Student University of Minnesota, 1890-1891. Honorary Doctor of Science, Kalamazoo College, 1929.

Career

With W. S. Sampson & Company, contractors, Boston, 1894-1896. Represented Ernest Flagg, architect, in the building of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, 1898-1908, as vice-president and general manager of Noel Construction Company. Director building operations at Naval Training Station, North Chicago, Illinois, and Chicago City Hall Building, 1908-1912.

Associate with Mr. Flagg in practice, 1914-1916. Assisted in erecting powder plant for United States Government, at Nitro, West Virginia, 1917-1918. Secretary in charge Department of Architecture, The American Baptist Home Mission Society, since 1920.

Trustee Baptist International Seminary, East Orange, New Jersey.
