Career

Commissioned Second lieutenant, infantry, 1902. Commissioned First lieutenant, Ordnance Department, 1904, and advanced through the grades to brigadier general, 1940. Works manager, Rock Island Arsenal, 1923-1926.

In command Augusta (Georgia) Arsenal, 1926-1928, Hawaiian Ordnance Depot, 1928-1931, Watervliet (New York) Arsenal, 1932-1938, Springfield (Massachusetts) Armory, 1938-1942. Retired June 1942.
