Pastor successively at Hebron, Indiana, Fergus St. Church, Cincinnati, First Church, Omaha, Nebraska and Third Church, Indianapolis, until 1912, also nat. secretary of education Disciples Church.

Chautauqua lecturer; president Indiana College Music and Fine Arts, Indianapolis. Consulting psychologist. Pastor New Thought Temple, Cincinnati, 1926-1943.

Pastor The City Temple, nondenominational, since 1943. Conducts Life Adjustment Clinic. Sunday services held in theater to accommodate crowds.
