Ordained Baptist ministry, 1898. Pastor at Chickasha (Oklahoma), Nevada (Missouri), Winfield (Kansas), Sioux Falls (South Dakot), Des Moines (Iowa), and Fargo (North Dakota), 1923-1929. Pastor First Church, Billings, Montana, since 1929.

Principal Biblical department Sioux Falls U., 1904-1918. Dean School of Religion, Des Moines, 3 years. Active in social service and welfare movements.

Built and operated the City Temple (an open-all-the-time church), at Sioux Falls, 14 years Religious work director, World War. Regional director Inter-Church World Movement.
