ABINGER, Justice of the Peace was born in 1872. Son of late Lieutenant-Colonel L. J. Y. C. Scarlett, grandson of 1st Baron Abinger, and Bessie Florence, daughter of Edward Gibson of Spring Vale, Isle of Wight, niece and adopted daughter of Sir Percy F. Shelley, 3rd Baronet, and Lady Shelley. S. cousin 1904. Appointed Honourable Attache to His Britannic Majesty’s Legation at Berne, 1894.
Transferred to Stockholm, 1897.
