Graduate Illinois School for the Deaf, Jacksonville, Illinois, 1880. Bachelor of Arts, Gallaudet College, Washington, District of Columbia, 1886, Master of Arts, 1889, Doctor of Divinity, 1914. Summer School of Physical Education, Chautauqua, New York, and Harvard University.

Career

Deacon, 1889, priest, 1893, Protestant Episcopal Church. Assistant minister All Souls Church for the Deaf, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1890. Minister St. Thomas Mission for the Deaf, and missionary, St. Louis, Missouri, September since 1890.

Also principal Gallaudet School for the Deaf (a Public school), 1890-1922. Missionary to the deaf in Dioceses of Missouri, W. Missouri, Nebraska and Kentucky Home: St. Louis, Mo.
