Career

Joined father, Leopold Cohn, former rabbi, in work of Williamsburg Mission to the Jews, 1907. He expanded it into what is now known as the American Board of Missions to the Jews (director). Dean, founder, Jewish Missionary Institute New York.

Instrumental in producing American Translate of New Testament into Yiddish when Nazis had destroyed all existing editions and plates, 1941. Traveled in Europe and Palestine in the interest of refugee work abroad and in establishing foreign stations of America Board Missions to Jews. Trustee Williamsburg Mission to Jews.

Organized and directed New York Congress on Prophecy, conference of Bible students, New York City, 1942. Editor: The Chosen People, 1935. Shepherd of Israel, 1935.
