Career

Commissioned Second lieutenant, June 12, 1891. Promoted through grades to brigadier general November 5, 1923. Duty various posts in New York, 1892-1898.

Recruiting service. Michigan, 1898. With regiment at Montauk Pt., Long Island, New York, 1898. Collector customs, Tunas de Zaza and Manzanila, Cuba, 1899-1902.

In Philippines, 1908. P.m. New York City, 1911-1912. Duty Panama Canal, 1912-1913, 1915-1916, Fort Leavenworth.

Kansas, 1913-1915, Eagle Pass, Texas, 1916-1917. Arrived in France, June 26, 1917. Returned to the United States May 14, 1919.
