History: In December, 1945, the death of Major General Leonard F. Wing terminated the existence of Fenton, Wing & Morse, a partnership which had been in existence in Rutland, Vermont since 1922.
On January 1, 1946, the surviving partners, Charles F. Ryan, R. Clarke Smith and John Doctorate. Carbine associated themselves as Ryan Smith & Carbine. In 1973, the partnership was converted into the present Professional Corporation.
