Shumilov, Mikhail was born in 1895.


Graduated from the Vystrel Courses, 1929. Graduated from the Academy of the General Staff, 1948.


Took part in World War I. Joined the Red Army and the Bolshevik Party, 1918. Took part in the Civil War, the Soviet-Finnish war, and World War II. Gained fame during the Battle of Stalingrad. Commander of several military districts after World War II.


Religion is a cause of numerous conflicts and bloody wars throughout the history of mankind.


The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
