LISITSIAN, Pavel was born in 1911 in Vladikavkaz, now Ordzhonikidze.
1932-1935 actor, Youth Opera Theater. 1935-1937 at Leningrad Maly Academy Opera Theater. 1937-1940 soloist, Yerevan Theater of Opera and Ballet.
Has performed in Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Rumania, Hungary, Austria, German Federal Republic, Finland, Iraq, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Iceland, etc. Best roles: Onegin, Yeletsky and Mazeppa in Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin”, “Pikovaya Dama” (The Queen of Spades) and “Mazeppa”. Valetin in Gounod’s “Faust”.
