Ordained to ministry of Congregational Church, 1908. Pastor Spring Valley, New York, 1908-1913. Pastor Bound Brook, New Jersey, 1913-1920.

With J. H. Brooks & Company, investment bankers, Scranton, Pennsylvania, 1920-1922. Pastor Bedford Park Church, New York City, 1923-1926. Since 1923 treasurer Corporation General Council of Congressional and Christian Churches, Annuity Fund for Congressional Ministers, Board of Home Missions of Congressional and Christian Churches and ten other affiliated corporations During World War served overseas with Young Men’s Christian Association, and as speaker for National Service Section of the United States Shipping Board Trustee, Talladega (Alabama) College, American College (Madura, India), Piedmont College (Demorest, Georgia), Tougaloo (Mississippi) College, Le Moyne College (Tennessee).
