He entered the Gakurin, or the school attached to the East Honganji Temple, in 1844 and studied under Houn and Keion, etc.
Career
In 1890, he lectured at the Gakurin but was ordered to suspend his lecture. He then founded his own private school in his own temple. He devoted his late years to lecturing and literary pursuits.
