Career

Elected Mayor, City of Lidgerwood, N. Dakota, 1922, 1924, 1926-1928. State Senator, representing 37 District, Richland Company, N. Dakota, 1928-1930. Instrumental in bringing good highways in Richland Company (have the only paved streets in a city of one thousand inhabitants in the State of N. Dakota, together with white way, sewer system, motorized fire department, viaduct, large city hall and no bonded indebtedness).
