Emigrated after the Civil War. In the 1920s and 1930s, created the rightwing Mladorossy Party. Became its leader (glava), 1923, receiving Fascist-like adulation at public meetings.
Very popular for a short time, but later lost his influence. Returned to the Soviet Union. Worked in the administration of the Moscow patriarchy, and contributed to its magazine, Zhurnal Moskovskoi Patriarkhii.
