1919-1922 served in Red Army. While still a student worked at the Institute of Aerology and gained practical experience at Institute of Actinomctry, Institute of Magnetism and Institute of Meteorology. 1927-1931 head, Research Section and assistant director, Institute of Aerology, then associate, Aerial Photography Institute and Civil Aviation Research Institute.
Active member, Social for the Promotion of the Soviet Aviation, Defense and Chemical Indiana. 1927 designed airship for high-altitude research. 1930-1932 designed and tested balloons for high-altitude research and aerial photography.
Did research on various aspects of high-altitude ballooning, especially the problem of icing. 30—31 January 1934, together with Fedoseyenko and Usyskin, reached a height of 20,600 meters with the balloon “Osoaviakhim-1 ”. The balloon crashed as a result of icing, killing the whole crew.
Number religious basis is needed in order to display ethical behavior.
The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
